First Meeting of the Season

Last night was the first rodeo club meeting for the 2012-2013 season. This years club is going to be a very competitive, successful group of people. The meeting started with the club adviser, Candace Dowling telling what the club is about. Each member was given a pizza sales packet and told what the requirements for the fundraisers are. Officers were nominated and voted on also! I am the new club President, Fehrin Ward is the Vice President, Miranda Mikkelson is the Secretary, and Jade Crago is the Treasurer. When the meeting was over the members were allowed to leave but anyone who was interested in staying longer could do so and talk about any changes that they would like to see in the Point System. The next meeting will be on October 10th!

It's That Time of the Year!

The oficcial start to the BFHS Rodeo Club season is finally here! There will be a meeting Wednesday September 19 at 7:00 pm at the Branding Iron Steakhouse in Belle Fourche. It is very important that all members attend the meeting! At the meeting new officers will be elected, pizza sales packets handed out, and the rules, point system, and elegibility requirements will all be explained. Last years members will also be receiving the money that they earned from the 2011-2012 season. Each member receives points for attending the meetings and those  points will help them to earn more money at the end of the year! If a member can not attend but still wish to receive their points they can send either a parent or sibling in their place and still receive the points. Hope to see many old and new faces at the meeting!

Interested In Buying Pizza?

Hey everyone!
The Club's new season is starting which means it is once again time for the Little Caesar's Pizza Fundraiser! The fundraiser is always a huge success for the club. Each member is required to sell at least one item in order to recieve any money at the end of the rodeo season. The more items that a member sells, the more points they will get. The club makes $5- $7 on each item that is sold. During the 2011-2012 season the Rodeo Club made $3,498! Each member will have one month to sell their pizza and then they turn the forms into Candace, the club adviser. All of the pizza will be delivered, frozen, to a specified location and from there each member must deliver all of the pizza that they sold.

If anyone is interested in buying any Little Caesar's food, let me or any other Rodeo Club member know and we will bring you an order form! The pizza, cookies, breadsticks, and cinnamon bread is delicious! It will be money that is very well spent!
